“Bad” Fans
Trying to keep this major spoiler free so It’s going to be hella vague.
Was looking through Game of Thrones tags and there were a few people saying things along the lines of “I hope [Insert spoiler] doesn’t happen. I’m going to stop watching if it does!”, and these are obviously people who haven’t read the books. I’m not going to claim I’ve read them either, because I haven’t, but I have been CONSIDERABLY spoiled so I know a hell of a lot that’s coming. I’ve got no problem with these people. Nobody should. Some people just can’t get into reading. Nothing wrong with that.
My issue is with the people saying things like “If you’d have read the books you’d know that [Spoiler!] doesn’t happen!”. This pisses me off for a number of reasons. Their Holier-than-thou attitude implies that they believe the people who have not read the books are “less” of fans and b) you’ve just spoiled the show for them. So THAT, good ladies and gents, makes YOU a bad fan.
